Celebrate the launch of Data & Society

1:00 pm
Rubin Museum of Art

With the help of an amazing group of advisors, affiliates, and friends, the Data & Society team has been working over the last year to translate lots of ideas into a dynamic research organization. Data & Society will soon be in a space of its own, we have funded projects and interesting events in the pipeline, and we have a stellar inaugural class of fellows joining us in NYC this year.

It’s time to gather our community, celebrate, and look ahead.

The day will begin with an invite-only mini-conference. We are gathering a core group of collaborators, friends, and thinkers to discuss some of the issues and areas of interest that inspired the creation of Data & Society and are driving its research agenda.

After the mini-conference, we will celebrate with a launch reception where we will be joined by a cohort of good friends and supporters, collaborators and thinkers, troublemakers and policymakers, scientists and artists, activists and fellow travelers, journalists and entrepreneurs and geeks of all stripes. We will hang out, share our story so far, and talk a bit about where Data & Society is going.
